New York, New York! NCL loves NYC so much, we’ve decided to move two of our fantastic Freestyle Cruising ships into year-round residency in The Big Apple.

Joining the popular Norwegian Dawn in New York this season is the stunning Norwegian Spirit. A spectacular, state-of-the-art ship, Norwegian Spirit sparkles from stem to stern. Eight unique restaurants, 11 bars & lounges, the luxurious Roman Spa & Fitness Center and the glimmering Maharajah’s Casino are just some of the many spoils available onboard.

Accommodations aboard Norwegian Spirit offer something for everyone, including 18 spacious suites, over 300 family-friendly connecting staterooms and nearly 600 oceanview staterooms – 65% of which feature private balconies.

From her new home in New York, Norwegian Spirit will offer an array of 8-, 10-, 11- and 12-day cruises to the Eastern and Exotic Southern Caribbean throughout the year. And beginning in 2006, she will also sail 6- and 7-day cruises to the Bahamas & Florida, many of which include an overnight stay on NCL’s own Private Island, Great Stirrup Cay.

Freestyle Dinning in Eight Restaurants
Travel a world of dining options all in one week. From elegant French bistros and Italian trattorias to sushi and tapas bars, and more, there's a different dining option for almost every night of your cruise. With 8 different restaurants, each featuring a diverse and ever-changing menu, you'll always find exactly what you're in the mood for. The restaurants are open from 5:30 pm to midnight, no fixed seatings. Feel free to dine where, when and with whom you choose.

Windows Restaurant
One of the ship's two main restaurants, the opulent Windows offers five-course feasts and panoramic views through two-story windows.


The Garden Room Restaurant
A more intimate ambiance prevails in this main restaurant offering five-course dining as well as Cooking Light dishes.

Maxim's
Perfectly grilled steaks are served with all the delicious trimmings in this elegant restaurant.

Shogun Asian Restaurant
Actually three dining experiences in one, Shogun features a teppanyaki room, sushi bar and sit-down Asian Fusion restaurant.

Tai Pan
For a tempting change of taste, try the French specialties in this bistro-style restaurant.


La Trattoria
Enjoy a perfect plate of pasta with Italian style appetizers and desserts.
