Can I check-in for my cruise vacation in advance?
Yes. Online Check-In may be completed at www.royalcaribbean.com. Completing the Online Check-In process for all the guests in your reservation will save you from having to fill out forms at the pier, which means your cruise vacation adventure can start immediately.

Online Check-In must be completed at least 48 hours prior to sailing. Our pier staff will validate all information prior to boarding.  Any discrepancies may result in a delay or denial of boarding.

During the cruise, what will I need with me to get back on the ship?

At the pier, you will receive a SeaPass card for each guest once all identification documents have been validated.

You will use the SeaPass card to board/leave the ship in every port of call during your cruise vacation.  Please have it with you at all times.

How do I get to the ship?

For guests who have made their air arrangements through Royal Caribbean Int'l (and are arrivng on the day of boarding), our airport meet & greet staff will meet you in the Baggage Claim Area or outside of Customs (for international flights) to direct you to your transportation between the airport and ship.  Please refer to your Transfer Voucher for more specific details on transportation, meeting locations, start times and frequency of transfers.

Guests that are cruise only (i.e., have not made air arrangements through us) may also purchase this transfer service (called Royal connections) separately.  Please contact your travel agent or us for details.

If I complete the Online Check-In process, will I have a designated area to have documents validated at the pier?

Yes.  Guests who have completed Online Check-In will have an area designated for their documentation validation.  By checking in online, you will expedite your boarding process and will be able to start enjoying your cruise vacation much faster.  Look for the SetSail Pass signs at the pier.

What do I do if I'm having trouble printing the SetSail Pass?

If clicking the print button in the SetSail Pass pop-up window does not launch the printer dialog window, try holding down the command key and "P" if you're on a Mac or the control key and "P" in you're on a PC.  This should launch your printer dialog window.

What do I need in order to complete the Online Check-In process?
In order to complete Online Check-In successfully, you will need the following:

Personal Information for each guest are checking in online
Identification Document information for each guest you are checking in online
Crown & Anchor Society Membership Number (if applicable)
Onward Travel Plans
Onboard Expense Account Information (i.e credit card, reservation information that is authorized to charge against the account)

You will also need to establish an Onboard Expense Account via either credit card or cash.

What documents do I need to present at the pier if I have not already checked-in online?
You will need to present the following forms at check-in:

Charge Account and Cruise Ticket Contract Form
Guest Information Form
Immigration Forms (if applicable)

These forms are contained within your Guest Vacation Documents or will be available at the pier.

You will also need to present:

Identification Documents (proof of Citizenship) for each guest
Credit Card used for your Onboard Expense Account

What documents will I need to present at the pier if I have completed the Online Check-In process?
You will need to present:

SetSail Pass
Identification Documents (proff of Citizenship) for each guest
Credit Card used for your Onboard Expense Account
Onboard Expense Account Information (i.e credit card, reservation information that is authorized to charge against the account)

Note: If you  successfully complete online check-in and receive a SetSail Pass, you will NOT be required to complete any of the forms contained within your Guest Vacation Documents relating to check-in.

What if the name on my reservation does not match my travel document?
The name on your reservation MUST match the name on your travel identification documentation due to the requirements of the regulatory agencies in the countries we will be visiting during your cruise vacation.

If there is a difference between the name on your reservation and the name on your travel identification documents, please contact your travel agent or us at (800) 398-9819.

What is a Bevergage Waiver? How does it work?

It is Royal Caribbean's policy to serve alcoholic beverages to those guests who are 21 years of age or older.  However, while the ship is in international waters, persons 18 - 20 years of age may consume beer and wine only, provided they are authorized to do so by a parent, legal guardian or designated person over the age of 25 years or older who will assume responsibility.

What is a SeaPass card?
A SeaPass card serves several purposes during your cruise vacation:

It is your individual ID card
It is the card you will use for your onboard purchases and services
It may also serve as your stateroom key card (on most ships)
It is your Boarding Card at each port of call

Please be sure to sign the back of your card prior to making your first purchase.

This card must be kept with you at all times during your cruise vacation.

What is an Onboard Expense Account? How does it work?

An Onboard Expense Account is the cashless system used for all onboard purchases and services.

The account may be set-up with either a credt card or as a cash account.  You may establish a master account and add guests from your stateroom or another stateroom as authorized purchasers on your account.

For each purchase made onboard the ship you will receive a receipt at the point of sale.  A final statement will be delivered to your stateroom on the last nght of your cruise vacation for your review.

Guests that set up an account with a credit card should verify the statement.  If all purchases are correct, they will automatically be billed to the credit card.

Guests on a cash account will need to settle their statement onboard prior to disembarking.  The ship will provide you with specific details.

What is the SetSail Pass?
The SetSail Pass is your confirmation for Online Check-In.  It indicates that you successfully completed the check-in process for you and those guests listed on your SetSail Pass.

All guests listed on the SetSail Pass must be present to board.  Any minors under the age of 21 must be accompanied by an adult 21 and older in order to board.

When can I board the ship?
The boarding time for your ship and sailing date is specified in your Guest Vacation Documents.  Please do not plan on arriving at the pier prior to the specified time as the ship will not be ready to board guests.

The latest a guest may board the ship is one hour prior to the scheduled sailing time.
