1) Carnival Freedom - Carnival Cruise Lines The Freedom carries 2,974 passengers and is 110,000 GRT. The Carnival Freedom will sail the Mediterranean in the spring, summer, and fall of 2008 then cross the Atlantic to the Caribbean Cruises for the winter.
2) NCL Norwegian Pearl - Norwegian Cruise Line The Pearl carries 2,380 passengers and is 93,000 GRT. First ship with a bowling alley. The Pearl alternates 5 and 9-day cruises to the Caribbean FOR 2008/2008.
3) Norwegian Gem - Norwegian Cruise Line The Gem carries 2,380 passengers and is 93,000 GRT. The Gem will also be fitted with a bowling alley like her sister ship Norwegian Pearl. The Norwegian Gem will cruise the Mediterranean, then to the Caribbean from New York.
4) Emerald Princess - Princess Cruises The Freedom carries 3,100 passengers and is 116,000 GRT.The sister ships to Emerald Princess are the Caribbean Princess, Crown Princess, Grand Princess, Golden Princess, and Star Princess. The Emerald Princess will begin her first cruise in April from Venice, Italy and then the caribbean for the winter.
5) Liberty of the Seas - Royal Caribbean International The Liberty carries 3,600 passengers and is 160,000 GRT.The sister ships to Liberty is the Freedom of the Seas. The Liberty of the Seas will sail the eastern and western Caribbean on 7-day cruises.
6) Celebrity Journey - Celebrity Cruises The Journey carries 710 passengers and is 30,000 GRT. The Celebrity Journey joins the Celebrity fleet in May 2008. The Celebrity Journey will cruise to Bermuda from Cape Liberty, New Jersey in the summer and fall of 2008. Later South America and Antarctica for 2008-2008.
7) Costa Serena - Costa Cruises The Serena carries 3000 passengers and is 112,000 GRT. The Costa Serena joins the Costa fleet in May 2008. The Costa Serena and Costa Concordia are the largest Costa cruise ships. The Costa Serena will cruise the Mediterranean through most of 2008.
8) Queen Victoria - Cunard Line The Freedom carries 2,000 passengers and is 90,000 GRT. Queen Victoria is the newest ship of 2008. The Queen Victoria joins the Cunard fleet in December 2008. The Queen Victoria will cruise the Mediterranean and begin her first world cruise in January 2008.
